Meet Honey Bee, our incredible blind feline companion who enjoys joining us on our hiking adventures! Originally adopted from Animals Fiji, she now resides in Seattle with her two humans and four feline siblings.
When we hit the trails, we either carry her on our shoulders or use a leash to ensure she can explore the great outdoors alongside us. While many believe that dogs make the best hiking partners, Honey Bee proves that cats are just as capable of enjoying the great outdoors.
Check out the video below of our hike to Mason Lake, located in the scenic mountains surrounding Seattle.
For more updates and information, follow us on Facebook, YouTube, or visit animalsfiji.org. Remember, Honey Bee loves hiking just as much as your typical canine companion!
She enjoys sitting on our shoulders as we go for leisurely strolls.
Honey Bee enjoys the soothing sounds of water while we explore the great outdoors.
With her keen awareness of boundaries and cliffs, she navigates close without tumbling over. Walking with Honey Bee tends to be at a leisurely pace, as she gets easily distracted by the multitude of scents and noises surrounding her.
Just like the rest of us, she takes frequent breaks for water and snacks.
When you have confidence in yourself, you have the ability to conquer any obstacle that comes your way.
